Application to obtain an Absent Voter Ballot: Click here Print and complete the required areas. If the application is incomplete a ballot will not be mailed to you. Mail or drop off your application by 2:00 p.m. on November 4th at the City Clerk's Office or in the drop box located on the north side of City Hall.
All polling places are handicaped accessible. Braille and audio versions of voting instructions are available. The polls will be open 7:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Every qualified elector present and in line at the polls at 8:00 p.m. shall be allowed to vote.

Register to Vote at any Secretary of State Office or the City Clerk's Office, or mail in your voter registration application to the City's Clerk's office.
Voter Registration Qualifications:
- Citizen of the United states;
- At least 18 years of age by Election Day;
- Resident of Michigan and the City where you are applying to register to vote for at least 30 days prior to Election Day;
- Not confined in jail after being convicted and sentenced.
Local elections (Mayor and City Council) are held in the odd numbered years.
