This bond proposal provided $5.926 million to construct a new, state-of-the-art headquarters fire station and training tower at the corner of Brush and Irving. This new headquarters fire station contains a five-bay apparatus garage, a 1,200 square foot training room that can double as a public meeting room, and separate locker and shower facilities for male and female employees. The training tower provides the Fire Department with many new training opportunities including a live burn room. The Fire Department moved into their new headquaters in June of 2004.
Fire Chief Greg Lelito and the members of the Madison Heights Fire Department wish to thank the residents for their continued support!
