DONATIONS FOR THE FRIENDS BOOK SALE ARE NOW BEING ACCEPTED AT TTHE LIBRARY

The Friends of the Madison Heights Public Library is a non-profit organization interested in the growth and development of the library by promoting the library, purchasing equipment and books, funding programming and adding those things not provided by the library budget. All interested people are welcome to participate in the Friends group.  The Friends have been helping to build support for the library since 1957.  Their labors encouraged Library growth from the basement of the original City Hall to our present facility.  They have provided financial support from membership fees and volunteer support at the Friends of the Library Annual Used Book Sale.  Funds raised enable the library to stretch budget dollars and improve service.  Some of  the services the Friends of the Madison Heights Public Library have provided include:       Youth programs, Prizes for the Summer Reading Programs, Computers for Internet access, A disc repair machine to help prolong the life of our book-on-CD and DVD collections, and a HD Flat panel TV screen for displaying the City information channel
