The Madison Heights Department of Public Service office ce at 801 Ajax Drive
will be closed to the public beginning August 26th and 27th to complete the
fi nal stages of moving.

We will reopen to the public at our NEW LOCATION at 300 W. Thirteen Mile
on Monday, August 30th at 8:00 am. The Department will be located in the
former Assessing Department area adjacent to the City Clerk’s office.

The Madison Heights Public Library is pleased to make a special resource available to the residents of the city. Newsbank is a service that gathers news articles from around the city, county and state and makes the information availble on one handy site.
Included in this product, are 76 state newspapers, and hundreds of others from across the nation. There is also a button for obituaries and an enormous job resource center.

The City of Madison Heights is now offering an exciting opportunity for area business owners to promote their businesses and support the community – by advertising in the City’s semi-annual City Newsletter and Recreation Brochure! The brochure is mailed out to the 10,000 plus homes in August and December. Annual advertising fees covering two newsletters are as follows:
Full Page – approx. 8.5” x 11” - $2,500
Half Page – approx. 8.5” x 5.5” - $1,250
Quarter Page – approx. 4.25” x 5.5” - $625
Ads will be in 2-color ink and require submittal of camera-ready artwork. The deadline for submitting ads for the 2010-11 Fall/Winter Newsletter is June 21, 2010.
