Calling all inventors, scientists, engineers, tinkerers, creators, and creative geniuses! Madison Heights Recreation is challenging YOU to participate in a citywide STEM challenge. Starting June 10th sign-up for this free activity where we will ask you to utilize recyclable materials or objects traditionally thrown in the trash to construct a water balloon launcher. Water balloons will be launched at Festival in the Park (June 26th) where you will be judged for distance and accuracy. This is a solo or team activity however we are limiting teams to groups of 4 individuals per team. We will have three age categories, elementary, middle school, and high school. Prizes will be awarded.

The competition will take place Sunday, June 26th at Civic Center (starting at 4:00 PM email will be sent with launch time)
