Compost Is Available!

Compost Newsflash

The Department of Public Services has screened, cured compost available for Madison Heights residents, free-of-charge... With the weather getting nicer, and so many people being stuck at home, many of us are turning to our gardens for something to do... The compost bin is located outside the DPS facility at 801 Ajax Drive. At the circle drive, veer right into the parking lot outside the gate; the bin is in the parking lot. Please do not enter the gate unless going to the Animal Shelter.

Compost is first-come, first-served. Bring a container and shovel to load. Wood chips will be available in this location when the compost is exhausted for the season. Please remember to practice your social distancing while loading your compost...
