Paul Biliti has been a professional firefighter/paramedic with the Madison Heights Fire Department since 2000 and currently serves as the Fire Marshal. Paul has been named Firefighter of the Year three times. He began his career as a paramedic in 1993 and worked as a firefighter/paramedic in Utica, MI from 1996 until his hire. Paul was promoted to Sergeant in 2016 and Fire Marshal later that same year. He is a senior technical rescue instructor and his specialties include high angle rope rescue, rope access, grain bin engulfment, confined space, trench rescue, building collapse and tunnel rescue operations.
He has a diverse background in subject matters involving emergency situations, policies and procedures and strategic planning. He holds certifications in or as a Certified NFPA Fire Inspector II, Certified Plans Examiner, Fire Cause and Origin Determination, Arson Investigation, Fire Officer I & II, Paramedic Instructor/Coordinator, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Neonatal Resuscitation, Advanced Tactical Medicine, National Incident Management Systems, Incident Command Systems 100-800, WMD/Terrorism Management, HAZMAT Awareness, Blue Card, PA 54 Registered Code Official, American Heart Association Instructor and Medical Ethics.
