Fire Marshal Nate Figueroa has been with the Madsion Heights Fire Department since September of 2014. He started his career as a paid-on-call firefighter in Ray Township MI in 2005. In 2007 he left Michigan and moved to Maryland where he worked for the Montgomery County Fire Department as a firefighter and paramedic. Nate brings 20 years of fire service experience to his current role as Fire Marshal. Nate has an extensive background in technical rescue training and is a member of the department’s technical rescue team. Nate has an associate’s degree from Macomb Community College and is a graduate of Eastern Michigan Universities School of Staff and Command. During his career he was promoted to Lieutenant in 2018, Captain in 2022 and Fire Marshal in 2025.
