From beautifying the community to regulating its development, board members and commissioners meet regularly to support the City Council and City Administration and give back to their community. The City of Madison Heights has many opportunities waiting for you at various places within the city. We encourage you to get involved in your local government by joining a board or commission

Position terms vary by Board or Commission

If the Board or Commission you are interested in does not currently have a vacancy, you can still submit an application and it will be held on file for 1 year in the event a future vacancy occurs. 

Applying for a Position

Thank you for your interest in serving on an Advisory Board or Commission. The purpose of the application is to provide the Mayor and Council with basic information about persons being considered for appointment. This application will be kept on file for 1 year. The file of completed applications is open for public inspection upon request. Please note that the background information is not open to public inspection.
