Laurie Geralds is a long-time Madison Heights resident with strong ties to the community. She is currently on the Board of Directors of GFWC Madison Heights Women’s Club, Madison Heights Citizens United, and Madison Heights Food Pantry.
She has also served on the Memorial Day Parade Committee for over 25 years, the City of Madison Heights Arts Board since it was created in 2017 and Elected Officials Compensation Committee.
Previous involvement includes Girl Scouts (37 years), Boy Scouts (8 years), PRISM Gay Men and Allies Chorus board member (6 years), Lamphere Band Boosters (5 years), and First Presbyterian Church of Royal Oak Deacon (3 years).
She is an Executive Assistant for Henkel, a graduate of Lamphere High School and holds a B.A. in Recreation Administration from Wayne State University.
Laurie completed Citizens Academy in 2019 and will be serving on the Arts Board, Environmental Citizens Committee , Election Commission, and Parks and Recreation Advisory Board.
