The Fire Department offers
free smoke detectors to senior citizens and low income families. These detectors are installed by Madison Heights Fire Fighters at no cost to the homeowner. For more information, please call 248-588-3605.
After approval has been given, a Fire Fighter will contact the homeowner for an appointment for installation.
The free smoke detector program is for homes that do not currently have any detectors.
