Statement of Services
The Custodial & Maintenance Division is responsible for maintaining the City's buildings, which includes preventative maintenance, repairs, and janitorial services. Custodial services are provided through outside contractors at the Public Library, District Court, Police Station, Senior Citizen Center, City Hall and Department of Public Services.
Division Facts
- In 2010 to 2011, the City completed over $225,000 in grant-funded building energy improvements to help meet the goal of reducing energy consumption from non-renewable sources by 25% of 2005 levels by 2015
- In 2015, this goal was surpassed with a cumulative 33% reduction in energy use at city facilities
- Responsible for maintenance of 13 City buildings
